This was our view coming down from the mountain. It was gorgeous, and I was devastated that I couldn't catch it's beauty just right on film. This picture does it no where near any justice.
We had to take a lot of small breaks on the way up, but I didn't mind so much. It was nice to just sit there and take everything in.
Cory telling his story of how two twins were eaten by a half titan, half bear on the hills of Mount Olympus. I think his story got to the twins a little bit. They were definitely walking faster after he told it.
Again, the view was fantastic. We really did tire the kids out though. I don't think I've ever seen them drink water so fast!
I love this picture. It just makes me happy seeing Jordan smile and enjoying our time together. I know I won't have moments like these forever, but I know well enough to cherish them now.
The gang. I know, they're the coolest.
My sister the model. For some reason, I just imagine my little sister Melanie who has passed away sitting next to her saying everything will be okay.
Still hiking. I was so tempted to climb that tree...but that would be very reckless. Then again, life is always a little more fun sometimes when you're a little bit reckless.
This path leads to a secret garden. I think I'd like to imagine things like this more often; it makes you wonder at nature's beauty.
Again, I love this picture so much. I guess you could say I'm a little obsessed with it at the moment. I guess I just love it so much because of the story I feel it tells. It holds my future.
These two are hilarious. They can never just smile at a camera; they always have to make faces.
Our shadows. We look like mini totem poles.
Mary on her rock. I've heard her say that she loves this picture.
Watching the sunset. Again, this picture doesn't do this moment justice. I can't express the love I felt for all four people in this picture.
"Simba"
Mary specifically stated that I must get a picture of her awesome calves. You can't really see the awesome-ness of them, but you can see a beautiful girl.
This view was amazing. I want to go back to this hike.
Another picture that I love. I feel like it could describe so many things and emotions. I feel like it's screaming "What path will you choose?"
Just a pretty flower I found.
I just liked this rock. It was a little pond beneath a tree and was the most beautiful color.
